River Music Experience is proud to welcome Grammy award-winning gospel legends, The Blind Boys of Alabama to the Redstone Room for a TWO NIGHT RUN on Thursday, August 9th and Friday, August 10th! Both performances are seated shows and tickets are limited. While seating is not reserved, every ticket holder is guaranteed a seat.
The Blind Boys of Alabama are recognized worldwide as living legends of gospel music. Celebrated by The Grammys and The National Endowment for the Arts with Lifetime Achievement Awards, inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, sung for two presidents in the White House and winners of five Grammy® Awards, they have attained the highest levels of achievement in a career that spans over 70 years and shows no signs of diminishing.
Their performances have been experienced by millions on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, the Grammy® Awards telecast, 60 Minutes, and on their own holiday PBS Special. The Blind Boys’ live shows are roof- raising musical events that appeal to audiences of all cultures, as evidenced by an international itinerary that has taken them to virtually every continent.
The Blind Boys of Alabama will perform at the River Music Experience in the Redstone Room for a two night performance on Thursday, August 9th and Friday, August 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to both shows go on sale to RME members on Friday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m. and on sale to the public Wednesday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. through Midwestix. Both performances are seated shows and tickets are limited. While seating is not reserved, every ticket holder is guaranteed a seat.
