Lawmakers Consider Legalizing Commercial Infused Alcohol

Iowa lawmakers are considering a bill that would legalize infused alcohol.  State code doesn't currently allow the commercial infusing of liquor, including combining herbs, spices, vegetables, or fruits with spirits.  A bill in the Senate would pave the way for those kinds of beverages.  The Iowa Alcoholic Beverages is reviewing the bill's language, and lawmakers will debate the measure next Tuesday.
