Moline Police Make Arrest in Armed Robbery

Press Release: Armed Robbery

On March 28^th, 2012 Moline Police responded to an armed robbery which occurred in the 1300 block of 15^th Street,Moline. The offenders were identified as siblings Leonard and Eric Lyle. 

During the armed robbery a handgun was dropped. A short time later Leonard Lyle was arrested at the scene by Detectives when he returned to recover the firearm. Leonard Lyle was taken to the Rock Island County Jail where he was charged with Armed Robbery, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of a Defaced Firearm. Leonard’s bond was set at $20,000.

Moline Police obtained arrest warrants for Eric Lyle charging him with Armed Robbery, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of a Defaced Firearm. Eric is held on $20,000 bond.

Leonard and Eric are currently in custody at the Rock Island County Jail.
