It's Safe Digging Month in Illinois and the Energy Education Council is urging people to call 'Julie' before doing any major digging. Even professionals are urged to call because 'Julie' will help you identify and avoid hitting any underground utilities that could be in your digging path. The service is free. Simply call 8-1-1 or submit a request online at Illinois1Call.com.
