Use Of Fake IDs Increasing In Iowa City

Police in Iowa City are concerned about an increase in the numbers of fake id's being used.  Statistics show in 2011 there were 52 instances of fake IDs being reported, with just 16 in 2010.  This year, there have been seven cases of fake IDs already, and police say the sophistication of those IDs is getting better and better.  The UI Partnership for Alcohol Safety is working on a long-term plan for the fall, and officials say the issue of fake IDs is on the top of their agenda.
