It's that time of year again, when Illinoisans step up to help feed those in need. Nearly nine million adults across the nation suffer from issues related to hunger. But, with the Stamp Out Hunger food drive, you can help make a difference. The drive is taking place on May 12th this year. People all across the state are urged to fill a bag with foods like canned goods, soups, and pastas and leave it next to your mailbox. Your postal carrier will pick the food up and make sure it's delivered to your local food bank or food pantry.
