Clark L. Mooneyham, 88, of Princeville, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Heritage Health, Chillicothe.
Clark was born July 14, 1923, in Vardaman, Mississippi, the son of Richard B. and Iris L. Clark Mooneyham. He married Martha Faye Therrell on May 12, 1951, in Houston, Mississippi. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Clark T. (Joyce) Mooneyham of Mackinaw, IL; two daughters, Pamela J. (Ray) Walker of Palm Bay, FL, and Anita (Ron) Routh of Edelstein, IL; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Fern Baker and Ruby (Frank) Bell both of Princeville, IL, and Sue Willingham of Murfreesbro, TN. His parents and one sister, Nancy Potter preceded him in death.
Clark was a truck driver for Miller Container, then later he drove a school bus for the Princeville School District until 2007. He was a member of Paris Avenue Church of Christ, Peoria.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at Heritage Health for all the love and care they gave to Clark the past 15 months.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rick Liggin and David Spillman will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Akron/Princeville Ambulance Service, Akron/Princeville Fire Department, or to a memorial fund at Princeville State Bank to help defray expenses.
