Pearl E. Egnor

Pearl E. Egnor, 82, of Galva, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11th, at the Galva Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the services. Cremation will take place after the service and inurnment will be held atGalvaCemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice.

Pearl Elaine George was born January 26, 1930 inGalva,Illinois, the daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Nahra George. She married Pearl Bumphrey in 1949. Her marriage to Rodger Egnor took place in Galva on December 2, 1968. She was educated in Galva schools and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Rodger, four daughters, Joann (Russell) Kincaid,Henderson,NV, Sarah Harding,Los Angeles,CA, Rose (Burgess) Langdon,Oquawka,IL, Rita (Keith) Cowdrey,St. Petersburg,FL, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her son, Danny Bumphrey, two daughters, Barbara Bumphrey and Rebecca Bumphrey, and seven brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
