Terry L. VanStechelman, 54, of Kewanee,Il. died at 3:15 P.M. Sunday, April 8, 2012at Kewanee Care Home. Terry was bornJune 25, 1957in Kewanee the son of David and Patricia (Hutton) VanStechelman. He graduated fromKewaneeHigh Schoolin 1976.
Terry married Sandy Blank in 2003. She preceded him in death onJune 1, 2010.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Surviving is a daughter Kari (David) Pate of Kewanee, a son Justin VanStechelman of Kewanee, five grandchildren, one sister Pam (Sonnie) Schauer of Chicago, one brother Jeff (Cathleen) VanStechelman of Kewanee and three step children Doug, Melissa and Sherry.
Terry was an avid gardener and enjoyed roasting hogs, mowing his yard and being outdoors.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M.Wednesday, April 11, 2012at the Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, Il. Fr. Jerry Rafalko will officiate. Burial will be in EvergreenMemoryGardens, rural Kewanee. Visitation will be from noonuntil the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
