Rangers Edge White Sox To Open Season

Michael Young singled home the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning as the Rangers opened the season with a 3-2 win over the White Sox.  Ian Kinsler homered and Josh Hamilton drove in a run for Texas, which spoiled the debut of new White Sox manager Robin Ventura.  Colby Lewis struck out nine over six innings of two-run ball for the win.  Joe Nathan posted his first save in his Rangers debut.  John Danks allowed all three runs in six frames to take the loss for Chicago.  Adam Dunn hit a solo homer and Alexei Ramirez had an RBI single in the sixth for the Sox.
