White Sox Slip Past Rangers

Alex Rios blasted a solo homer in the top of the ninth and the White Sox went on to clip the Rangers, 4-3.  Paul Konerko was 2-for-4 with three RBI for Chicago, which bounced back from a season-opening loss to Texas.  Jake Peavy gave up three runs over six innings in a no-decision.  Matt Thornton got the win in relief and Hector Santiago the save.  Mike Napoli, Elvis Andrus and Adrian Beltre each plated a run for Texas.  Starter Derek Holland tossed six innings of three-run ball.  Joe Nathan gave up the Rios homer in the ninth to take the loss for the Rangers.
