Cardinals Turn Reds Blue

Jake Westbrook gave up three hits and an unearned run over seven strong innings to lead the Cardinals to a 7-1 win over Cincinnati. Matt Holliday, David Freese and Yadier Molina all blasted first-inning homers for St. Louis, which has started the defense of its World Series title 4-and-1. The second game of the series is tonight, with Kyle Lohse opposing Mike Leake.
