Cards Clipped In Ninth By Reds

Chris Heisey's pinch-hit, RBI single scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Reds rallied for a 4-3 win over the Cardinals.  Joey Votto went 4-for-5 with an RBI double as the Reds evened their record at 3-and-3.  Aroldis Chapman worked two innings of relief to get the win.  Mark Rzepczynski took the loss for St. Louis.  Rafael Furcal had an RBI triple and Jon Jay a two-run homer in a three-run third inning for the Cardinals.  The Cards get a day off today before hosting a three-game series with the Cubs starting tomorrow afternoon.  Adam Wainwright will go up against Jeff Samardzija in the opener.
